TEUTHIC ANALYTICS
Privacy notice
Last updated:
This notice explains how Teuthic Analytics handles personal information when you visit this website or contact us about our services.
Who is responsible for your information?
Teuthic Analytics is operated by Edward Rogan, trading as Teuthic Analytics. Edward Rogan is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this notice.
For questions, concerns or requests about your information, email data@teuthic.com.
Information you provide
When you send an enquiry, we receive the information you include, which may consist of:
- Your name.
- Your email address.
- Your company name.
- Information included in the optional message field.
- Any further information you send in correspondence.
Please do not include confidential chat logs, employee or client records, or sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.
How the enquiry form works
Our enquiry form prepares a draft in your own email application. It does not submit your entries to Netlify Forms or a website database.
Your enquiry reaches our mailbox only when you send the email. Your email provider and our mailbox provider process the message as part of email delivery and storage.
If you contact us directly by email, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any attachments you choose to send.
How we use enquiry information
We use your information to understand and respond to your enquiry, discuss whether our services are suitable and arrange any next steps you request.
We do not use your enquiry information for marketing, newsletters or promotional mailing lists. Making an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing communications.
Our lawful basis
We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and communicating with people who have asked about our services. We consider those interests alongside your privacy rights and reasonable expectations.
For the technical processing needed to operate and protect this website, we rely on our legitimate interest in providing a functioning, reliable and secure website.
Website hosting and technical information
Our website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. When you visit, Netlify processes technical information needed to deliver, operate and protect the website.
This can include your IP address, the pages and files requested, browser information, and information about how the website responds to requests.
Technical information may be available to us through Netlify’s monitoring tools. We use this information where necessary to investigate errors, maintain website performance and protect against misuse.
Service providers and access
We use Netlify for website hosting and Namecheap Private Email for our business mailbox. These providers and their relevant service providers process information as necessary to provide their respective services.
Access to enquiry information is limited to people who need it to respond or provide an agreed service. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for third-party marketing.
International processing
Our service providers may process personal information outside the UK. The arrangements depend on the provider and the service involved.
Netlify and its service providers may process website-related personal information outside the UK, including in the United States.
Netlify’s Data Processing Agreement provides for transfers covered by the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Where that framework does not apply, the agreement provides for Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK Addendum, as applicable.
Further information about Netlify’s arrangements is available in its Data Processing Agreement . Information about Namecheap’s processing is available in Namecheap’s privacy policy .
Contact data@teuthic.com for further information about international processing and the safeguards relevant to your information.
How long we keep enquiry information
For enquiries that do not lead to a client engagement, we retain correspondence for up to six months after the last meaningful contact. We may delete it sooner if it is no longer needed.
At the end of this period, we delete the correspondence unless a continuing lawful reason requires us to retain relevant information, such as dealing with a dispute or meeting a legal obligation.
Deleted emails may remain in the mailbox’s deleted-items folder for up to a further 30 days unless we remove them sooner. This describes the mailbox deletion process; it is not a guarantee of immediate deletion from all provider backup systems.
Retention of website technical information
Retention of provider-held technical records is governed by Netlify’s applicable data-processing terms and policies. Netlify’s general privacy statement explains that retention depends on the purpose of collection, the nature and sensitivity of the information, and applicable legal requirements.
We have not confirmed a single retention period covering all visitor request logs, security records and backup copies. The history available in our hosting dashboard does not necessarily represent how long Netlify retains underlying records.
Further information is available in Netlify’s privacy statement and its Data Processing Agreement .
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising cookies or add analytics or marketing tracking scripts to this website.
Technical information processed to deliver and protect the website is described above. This processing can take place without analytics or advertising cookies.
We will review this notice if we introduce additional analytics, embedded services or other tracking technologies.
If you become a client
This notice covers website visits and initial enquiries. Before collecting information for an audit or other client service, we will explain any additional purposes, information requirements, access arrangements and retention periods.
Where appropriate, these arrangements will be covered in a separate privacy notice and contractual data-processing terms before the relevant work begins.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you have rights to:
- Request access to your personal information.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Request restrictions on how your information is used.
- Receive certain information in a portable format where the right to data portability applies.
You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, on grounds relating to your particular situation.

We will update this notice if our practices change and revise the date at the top of the page.
If we intend to use your information for a new purpose, we will explain that purpose and the applicable lawful basis before doing so.
